Submission Guidelines

Abstract

An abstract can be sent by the author at slr@klelawcollege.org, 2 weeks preceding the submission of the manuscript. This is optional.

Mode of Submissions

Contributors are to submit their manuscripts through our electronic submission system (Google Forms), in Microsoft Word format.

Please note that the Journal will not accept articles submitted via email.  To Submit Click Here

Length of Submissions

  • Articles: 4000-6000 words

  • Case Notes: 1500-4000 words

  • Book Reviews: 1500-3000 words

  • Legislative Brief/Comment: 1500-3000 words

The word limits above are suggestive. The Journal is flexible when it comes to word limits. Subject to the quality of the submission, exceeding the word limit will generally not weigh against selection.

Co-authorship is permissible for up to two authors.

Text Format

  • The font should be Times New Roman. The font size should be 14 for headings, 12 for regular text (1.5 spacing), and for footnotes, it should be 10 (single space).

  • To facilitate the double-blind review process, please enclose your personal information such as name, affiliation, biographical information, acknowledgments, etc, to a separate cover page.

  • Please include the manuscript's title on the first text page.

Citation Format

The use of footnotes is recommended as opposed to endnotes. Footnotes should conform to the latest edition of the Oxford University Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities (OSCOLA).
